What information do we collect about you?
Our name, zip code, city, telephone number, nationality, e-mail address and booking information, for which trip or event you wish to attend. Booking information will be stored securely in our booking system Checkfront. E-mail correspondence between you and us will be stored for up to two years on a secure server provided by our chosen provider.
Facebook, Tripadvisor and Instagram
Skadi Adventures uses Facebook, Tripadvisor and Instagram to inform the public about our business. Any and all communication between you and us will be stored within these solutions and deleted after two years. Ratings by you, given in these channels, may be published on our website.
How do we collect information about you?
We will receive information directly from you when you are looking for offers and information on a trip or event. All information is given voluntarily by you either via e-mail, forms on our website or phone.
Why do we collect information about you?
We use your information to complete the services you have requested, and to provide you with the best possible service. We also use customer administration, billing and accounting information.
Our accountant
If you have purchased a service from us (eg tour, event), some of your data (name, e-mail, address) will be stored by an accountant who has a duty to store data and records for up to ten years. Personal data that is not subject to storage will be deleted within 1 year.
Our booking system
When booking a trip with us, the booking will be registered in our booking system Checkfront and the payment will be registered in Stripe.
You are entitled to access, rectification and deletion
You have the right to access the personal information we have about you, and the right to demand that we correct or delete personal information about you. We will only store the data necessary to fulfill the purpose for which we obtained the information. Data that is stored for legal reasons (e.g. accounting) cannot be deleted.

Skadi Adventures takes your privacy very seriously. It is always the responsibility of the CEO of Skadi Adventures that your personal information is taken care of and handled in accordance with our legal responsibilities. These terms and conditions are part of the agreement you make with SKADI ADVENTURES upon enrollment at one of our tours or events. When ordering a tour/arrangement from us and/or using our website, you confirm that you have read and accepted our terms and conditions, and cookies and privacy policy.
BOOKING
Bookings are done through our website or email. By registering on behalf of other participants, you are responsible for communicating terms and conditions to the individual participant and responsible for the payment. You must be over 18 years to make a reservation.
PAYMENT TERMS
For trips and activities, the full amount will be paid upon booking.
CANCELLATION & REFUND
Cancellations from you must be made by e-mail. Date/time of cancellation is the date/time of when you sent the e-mail to us.
· Cancellation 30 days or more prior to the agreed activity starting date
You are automatically reimbursed the full activity price
· Cancellation between 30 and 10 days prior to the agreed activity starting date
You are entitled to a 50% reimbursement
· Cancellation 10 days or later, prior to the agreed activity starting date, are considered last-minute cancellations No reimbursements will be effected
Missing attendance
If you do not meet up to the agreed time and place on the trip you have booked, no refund is given. This also applies if you meet up late without having notified us (and we have accepted the delay).
Cancellation and changes made by us
We reserve the right to cancel and make changes to our tours and events due to circumstances beyond our control. If such cancellation or change becomes necessary, we are obliged to notify you as soon as possible. We will then do our best to offer an alternative within the same time as the original activity. If we can not offer an alternative arrangement, you will be refunded the amount paid.

Weather and driving conditions:
CUSTOMER’S RESPONSIBILITY AND OBLIGATIONS
You (the customer) are obliged to familiarize yourself with our terms, descriptions of the individual trip and event.
Duty to inform about your own health and prerequisites
You are obliged to make sure that you have the prerequisites for participation on our trips. All participants must inform us / guide / tour guide about health conditions, illnesses or ailments that may affect the safety of their own and others on the trip.
Duty to follow instructions given by the guide/tour leader
The overall responsibility for the safety of our tours are ensured by the guide/tour guide. In order for this to be able to safeguard the safety of tours under our direction, you undertake to follow all directions provided by us and/or the guide and tour guide.
ACTION OF RISK
We assume no financial obligations as a result of damage caused by participants, their actions or due to causes beyond our control (Force majeure) unless the accident or accident is caused by gross negligence by our guide.
INSURANCE
Insurance for the individual participant is not included in our tours and events.
Travel insurance and cancellation insurance
We do not offer cancellation protection, travel or accident insurance on our tours and events. We recommend that you as a participant provide necessary travel and accident insurance and check if these cover the activity you are attending.
We recommend checking if your insurance also has cancellation protection that covers your expenses items if you are prevented from meeting.
COMPLAINS
Complains about any shortcomings associated with our services must be addressed immediately to us or our guide. Otherwise, you will lose your right to appeal. In addition, complaints must be made in writing within 15 days of your return, unless special reasons make it reasonable to extend the deadline for appeal.
LAW AND PROTECTION
Any disputes that may arise between the parties to this agreement or for any other reason shall be dealt with in accordance with Norwegian law. If the dispute is not resolved, the property’s jurisdiction shall apply. You accept Troms District Court as legal venue.
